GLOBAL WARMING

GLOBAL WARMING
What is Global warming?
Global warming refers to an average increase in the earth's temperature, which causes changes in climate. A warmer may lead to changes in rainfall patterns, a rise in sea level, and have long reaching impact on plants, wildlife, and humans.
Scientists agree that the burning of fossil fuels like oil coal cause gases known as green house gases to escape into the air and, that these gases are causing most of the warming. They trap the sunlight that bounces of the surface of the earth, and reflect it back to earth.
Another causes is deforestation or the cutting down of trees. Trees soak up carbon dioxide, one of the green house gases, from the air, and by cutting them, we increase the level of carbon dioxide in the air.
